Prospective ECG-gated CT coronary angiogram was performed using a Philips 128 multidetector scanner. Following the administration of 40mg iv metoprolol and 800mcg sl GTN, axial cross sections of the heart were acquired with the patient in the supine position upon inspiratory breath hold. A separate workstation was used for 3D reformation of the dataset.

Findings
The LM is short and appears normal. Trifurcation anatomy is noted.
The proximal, mid and distal LAD appear normal. D1 and D2 appear normal.
The ramus intermedius is large in calibre and appears normal.
The proximal and mid LCx appear normal. The AVCx is vestigial. OM1 and OM2 appear normal.
Right dominance is noted. The RCA has a normal origin. The proximal, mid and distal RCA appear normal. The PDA and PLB appear normal.
Additional findings
No cardiac chamber enlargement is seen. Normal pericardium. No parenchymal lung lesion is seen. No mediastinal lymphadenopathy is identified. The pleural spaces are clear.
